So often clients have come to me feeling stuck, They are unhappy with the current state of their lives, but don't know where to begin in making it better. The logical step would be to figure out what they want. What are their dreams and passions? Find their purpose.
However that is generally a short-lived solution. Why? Because it is like trying to build a house without first laying the foundation. The storms of life come and the house collapses.
This 30 minute video will show you what you need to build a foundation that is strong and resilient so you can live life to your fullest potential with the confidence that you can make it through whatever storms come your way.
A crisis of meaning (also called an existential crisis) can happen to anyone at anytime but is most common during times of transition or loss.
During a crisis of meaning it is common to look back over our lives and wonder “what happened?” In our youth, we had hopes and dreams for the wonderful life ahead of us. Fast forward and we look around and ask “How did I get here? This is not the life I imagined.”
You may feel like something is missing. You look around and even though you’ve had some real successes, you wonder what’s the point. You are bored, stuck in the monotony of daily life. You’ve lost your passion. Maybe you feel like you’ve fallen short of your potential. You long for something better.
If any of this sounds familiar, you are likely experiencing a crisis of meaning. Stay in the crisis for too long and you will increase your risk of depression, anxiety and other mental health related problems. Your relationships may suffer. Your ability to cope with stress decreases and unhealthy habits increase. You feel worthless and meaningless. You lose motivation. You lose hope.
Here’s the good news, if you’ve found yourself experiencing a crisis of meaning, you don’t have to stay in the crisis; but YOU need to take action sooner rather than later to avoid long term consequences.

Storms in life will come. That is a fact. There will be hard days, There will be suffering. A life built on a firm foundation can stand through the storms with hope and resilience.
"This is the core of the human spirit...If we can find something to live for--if we can find some meaning to put at the centre of our lives--even the worst kind of suffering becomes bearable" --Victor Frankl
